beloved theater celebrates anniversary with weekend of activities

MILLVILLE--
The 109-year-old Liwo Theatre will host an event on a full weekend to celebrate its 50 th anniversary as a performing arts center.
On September 9, the celebration began live.
Comedy shows and fully catered extras
Grand event including red carpet entrance, unique souvenirs and some fun surprises.
In September 10, the party continued to work with the peachem Ragtime Orchestra, highlighting two silent film classics: Haunted House by Buster Keaton and Laurel Hardy

On September 9, 2012, Levoy opened the door for the first time in more than 30 years with our anniversary weekend\'s peacollragtime orchestra.
From that day on, 528 events were presented to the public.
More than 150 volunteers donated more than 30,000 hours to help 10 employees running the building keep it humming and open to the public every 3 days of the year.

In southern New Jersey, the Jewish Federation\'s International Film Festival and Cumberland\'s players, along with Les Miserables, showed off the biggest musical in their history at Levo in 2013.
