Brighton-as work continues on the construction of performance stage and washroom facilities at Memorial Park, the date of the ribbon has been set --

The City Center Business Improvement Association has requested and will pay for the purchase of a safety monitoring system to protect the park and stage, as well as the LED lamp head of the existing light pole, to make the park lighting better.
DBIA is also investigating the feasibility of purchasing and installing permanent speakers for projectors and screens.
Miller said the stage was \"almost double the terrace it replaced \".
The view is also better because there are no longer railings to limit the view of the stage.
It will provide \"a clear view from almost any angle-side or front,\" Miller said \".
A sloping roof will also produce a better sound.
\"The ribbon will be cut at 11. m.
The first event to be held on the stage will be held on November.
A candlelight vigil is held every year, and an anniversary ceremony is held the next day.
\"We will definitely look for more activities in the park,\" Miller said . \".
What is being considered is the projection system for film screenings.
\"We are looking for future activity streams for those who cannot go to the park,\" he added . \".
